Earlier this month I posted a question box on my Instagram stories and asked people for questions for a Q&A video. Just like November’s video, I like to add more context and resources for some of the questions in a blog post! But be sure to watch the video below to hear all the December 2020 questions and answers!
1) How do you combat planner burnout?
Think of yourself as a doctor! It’s corny, I know. But it helps – I promise. Take some time to really think about what may be causing your planner burnout. Do you have too many planners? Are you unhappy with your current planning system? You have to identify the problem and come up with a cure or solution.
I don’t experience planner burnout (knock on wood) because I am constantly checking and rechecking my planner system to ensure that it works for me. Also, I never get bored because I can change of my style of planning at any time. (That’s the beauty of planning with inserts. You can change things up often.)
I also wrote about solving various planner problems. Check out these posts:
- Audit Your Planner (Learn how to review your planning system and make changes to fit your needs!)
- Finding the Right Planner for You (Read about planner features you should consider before buying a planner!)
I hope this information help! If not, try taking a few days away from your planner system. Then, revisit it and see how you feel about it.
2) What tools do you use to create content?
I love creating content! For Instagram, I use Canva for graphics, InShot for video, Mojo for stories, my iPhone camera and Lightroom for photos. I forgot to mention that I use my planner to create content as well! My half-letter size planner my content planner. My favorite insert is the project planner inserts from 8Lotus. The grid pages help me brainstorm ideas while the checklist helps me put those ideas into action. (Fun fact, I use this method to create my monthly content series for IG and this blog.)
You can read more about it my other planners here!
3) How did you grow your IG page?
There is no easy answer to this question! I grew my IG (1) with a lot of hard work, (2) by studying my analytics, and (3) transparency and authenticity.
I talked about other Instagram growth tips and advice in this blog post. But today I’m dropping a blog post on Naila Marketing Co.’s blog about my “secret weapon” for organic Instagram growth. Check it out here!
